With the rapid economic development and increasingly fierce social competition, people are under tremendous pressure.Excessive stress makes frequent psychological problems, leading to increasingly prominent mental health problems.Schizophrenia is one of the six types of severe mental disorders. At present, the treatment of schizophrenia patients is still drug treatment.Relying mainly on rehabilitation hospitals, medical staff provide treatment services, but relying on drug treatment is not enough.People with schizophrenia are rarely exposed to others during illness or hospitalization, especially after being hospitalized. They are completely out of touch with society, leading to feelings of inferiority and loneliness. What's more, they lose the ability to interact with others and return to social difficulties. It has a major impact on their families and society. At present, the call for gradual transformation of the treatment mode of schizophrenic patients is increasing. The comprehensive drug-psycho-social treatment model is developing, and rehabilitation medicine and psychology are also involved.Social work can also be involved as a helper service activity. This study takes the schizophrenic patients from the Second Women's Hospital of the Rongjun Kangning Hospital in Shanxi Province as the research object.Based on the reading of related materials and literature, the methods and techniques of the group work are guided by the principles of social support theory, cognitive theory and superiority perspective.Among them,to help improve the patient's self-confidence and ability to interact with others, help them build a patient support network,so as to make it better adapted to social life.First of all,by observing and interviewing patients with schizophrenia and medical personnel to collect data,we mainly understand the patient's current in-hospital living conditions and the needs of patients.Second, analyze and evaluate the needs of patients. After analysis, the researchers decided to take part in the method of team work to meet the needs of patients, and began to design a targeted group plan.Once again,a group is formed through publicity, recruitment, and other links, and the process of conducting the group is recorded in detail. Then, the performance of each group and the overall performance of the group were evaluated, and a comparative analysis of the comprehensive interpersonal relationship scale completed by the team members was conducted.Through seven group activities, the group members have more initiative and enthusiasm. In the course of the activity, the self-confidence of many team members was also improved, and the bad mood was relieved. Many team members also built their own patient support network and began to plan for the future to return to society faster. At the same time, the capacity of social workers has also been improved.Social workers have changed the concept of schizophrenic patients and focused on tapping their abilities. Not only that, but also the ability of social workers to develop work skills and abilities in group work,as well as their ability to organize activities.Although there are still deficiencies in this study,it provides reference for the involvement of social work in the field of mental health and also provides valuable experience and inspiration for the work of the group in schizophrenic patients.
