| As the main way of knowledge acquisition,reading plays an important role in higher education.However,it has been generally pointed out that the current reading state of college students is not optimistic,reading presents a certain utilitarian tendencies.Therefore,it becomes important to grasp the changing reading tendency and reading characteristics of college students and guide them to form good reading habits.Due to the differences between students’ self cognition and actual behavior,the existing methods based on questionnaires and interviews can not fully reflect the reading state of college students.Based on this,the paper explores the reading tendency of college students,with the help of existing education data and learning analysis.In this study,the students of J college were investigated,the data of three academic years were obtained through the information system of X university library,to explore the borrowing characteristics and reading preference of college students,and propose corresponding intervention and guidance measures.Based on Clow’s learning analysis cycle,this study used the analysis method of learning analysis.First,capture and process the borrowing data generated by college students in the library.Secondly,using Tableau Public 10.4 to analyze and visualize the data;Finally,get the research conclusions and feedback.The study focuses on the analysis of the students’ borrowing status,the influence of grades,majors and other factors on the reading behavior of the students investigated,and the specific performance of students in professional reading and non-professional reading.The conclusions are as follows:(1)the number of borrowers in J college is increasing steadily,but the reading quantity needs to be improved;(2)reading covers the whole learning stage,the reading state of different grades and majors is slightly different;(3)academic and professional demand is an important factor affecting college students’ reading in J college;(4)the extracurricular reading of J college studentsinvolves various kinds of books,classic literature works are the most popular.In order to intervene and guide X university students’ reading,the paper puts forward the corresponding suggestions:(1)changing the personnel training mode,expanding the category of reading books in professional education;(2)creating a harmonious campus culture,encouraging students to read independently;(3)upgrading service level of library and optimizing students’ reading experience.In addition,the study also provides insights into the application and promotion of learning analysis. |
