College Students' Consumption Stratification Research In Everyday Life

Bourdieu thinks that traditional society relies on social class differentiation and opposition to complete the social evolution and refactoring,modern society is to rely on consumption,leisure,and the distinction between everyday life style to complete its social difference and refactoring.The different modes of life style,taste and lifestyle are both the way of self-differentiation and self-acting between individuals and social groups and the principle of social distinction.Habit to guide consumption,behavior guide people in the consumption field of using different capital strategy,show their own consumer interest,in order to realize themselves and others,group and group,get their identity in the process of this distinction.Qualitative research methods were used in this study.In daily life also accumulated a lot of material life,present is also the main part of the material is a record of his own life experience,and college students' consumption in daily life live.Confronted by the use of research methods,we obtain the abundant empirical materials relating to the consumption stratification,through the life experience of further supplement and perfect the theme,based on the theory of bourdieu consumption and related knowledge to form a complete research train of thought.Capital,field and habit are the three main concepts of bourdieu.The main frame of the thesis is based on the three concepts of bourdieu.Capital is the basis of consumption stratification.Bourdieu capital concept can be divided into three parts,first of all,from the economic capital,this paper discusses the family career and college students' consumption,vocational students to bring different family difference material gifts and different consumption structure,and some professional has a gray income,affect students' idea;Consumption idea then elaborated cultural capital,to explore the parents and children,the relationship between the consumption idea of inheritance,development and resistance,identity,is the consumption idea of intergenerational transmission show the characteristics of the dominant position of parents tend to through the "proxy" idle "unconscious" behavior to maintain the family's social status;Finally,the social capital,in the case of college students,is mainly in relative field,and new members enter into the status of family members to strengthen cohesion and relatives to maintain and reproduce family members.Field is the space of consumption stratification.It is divided into the life demand field,the association field,the network personality field.The basic needs of life mainly focus on diet,shopping and tourism.Due to the different economic differences in the region,it is possible to show the stratification by exploring the habits of college students in these three fields.As a department minister,the position of the minister is inclined to make some irrational consumption.In order to promote the communication,the department's dinner party is a normal state,and the minister values face and responsibility in this process.Network personality field compared with reality is different,but there are also similarities,different performance in the network is the consumption of leisure time,the same is in watching live will reward behavior,barrage consumption is to own the process of creation and individuality development,have students tend to be silent,think this is a carnival.Habit is the representation of consumption stratification.College students' discipline of their own body is an important embodiment of their habits,such as clothing style,clothing replacement,makeup,high art consumption and so on.Time is magic,and habits are constantly generating new structures,and the consumption habits of college students will change accordingly.The coordination system is also an important performance of the habit,not only the items need to be matched,but also the college students' lover needs to match and "perform".The stratification of consumption has the effect of "alchemy".Capital is convertible.The transformation of economic capital into social capital is the construction and maintenance of social order,and the cultural capital is mainly the reproduction of family relations.The individuals in the field constantly change their capital structure to keep the field running,constantly updating and constantly protecting themselves.Interest can generate consumption,and consumption generated by fun has a generation effect on class.Capital reproduction,field boundaries,interesting classes generated are a distinct consumption practice,to distinguish the source of personal and collective identity,this behavior to determine their own identity,the purpose of achieving personal and others,distinguish
