University is a national and national Rational Palace,is the most sacred place,the essence of the spirit of the University is the spirit of the nation,and also the essence of culture,so China's university spirit should be strong Chinese national color.Under the background of globalization,the spirit of university in the world is rebuilding and innovating,while the spirit of contemporary Chinese university should embody the essence of Chinese nation,on the other hand,it should contain global culture and blend into the world cultural color.The university spirit of contemporary China is both Chinese and the world,both traditional and modern,both the Times and the future.Although Chinese universities are imported from the west,but China's university spirit has traces in history,since the Westernization movement in the past more than 100 years,Western culture has shocked the balance of Chinese traditional culture,Chinese intellectuals have been trying to find the right balance between the Chinese and Western culture,for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation to provide spiritual guidance.This paper,through the literature and interview methods to study,first through the assumption that "university spirit should be the national and national cultural essence",while using the literature Law on the nature of the university and modern Chinese university spirit of the history of research and carding,while the argument was interviewed.After interviewing Chinese and western scholars,the author finds that in the different backgrounds of Chinese and Western cultures,people's understanding of the spirit of the university is fundamentally different.Therefore,on the assumption that "university spirit should be the essence of national and national culture",the applicability in the context of Chinese and Western culture is different.Then,through the study of the interview text and the comparison and analysis of Chinese traditional culture,Western culture and Western University Spirit Research literature,the author finds out the main problems of university spirit in modern China and puts forward the university spirit suitable for Chinese traditional culture.This article mainly according to the reflection to the reconstruction research thought carries on the research,the first chapter from the historical dimension to the Chinese University spirit carries on the reflection,and attempts to explain under the Western culture impact the Chinese contemporary culture to suffer the influence;Chapter two tries to find theoretical basis for the phenomenon of university spirit deficiencyAnd try to demonstrate the difference and connection between university Spirit and Western University Spirit from the perspective of Chinese traditional culture;The third chapter tries to reinterpret the significance of Confucian culture in the background of the Times,and explains the Chinese university spirit from the perspective of Chinese traditional culture.The main viewpoints of this paper are as follows: 1.Since modern times,the university spirit and traditional culture in China have been centrifugal,the spirit of the Westernization movement to the beginning of the Republic of China has taken the traditional Chinese culture as the core and the Western technology as the means,and after the impact of the Western and Soviet culture The university spirit of contemporary China has largely lost the color of traditional culture,so it has produced a series of social problems such as cultural fragmentation and "hollow disease".2.The spirit of the university takes culture as its soil and has a natural cultural color.There is a difference between Chinese and Western culture in essence,and there are obvious differences in higher education between China and the west.From the cultural structure,Western culture is the "subject and object dichotomy" culture,the Chinese culture is more inclined to the theory of "heaven and Man in One",the university is the place to pursue the truth,the West explores "scientific truth",while China emphasizes "mind and reason" and Chinese and Western understanding of truth is different,which determines the essential difference between the Western universities and the West.From the point of view of cultivation,Western universities advocate the cultivation of the "ego" with the right as the core under the individualism culture,and the Chinese traditional culture advocates cultivating the "greater self" in the world.3.This paper holds that the Zhang Yiqi of the Northern Song Dynasty "is the center of Heaven and earth,for the livelihood of the people,for the holy unique knowledge,for the eternal peace" can be used to fit the Chinese traditional culture of the contemporary university spirit.
