Children’s learning quality includes curiosity and interest in learning,initiative,persistence and concentration,imagination and creation,reflection and interpretation.Among then,the initiative in this paper also called learning initiative is one of the aspects.The importance of training children’s learning quality,both at home and abroad,is pointed out by the programmatic documents.It can lay a solid foundation for young children’s lifelong learning,and is also an important aspect of school preparation.In the high/scope curriculum,the initiative of young children is also called active learning,which refers to the construction of a new learning process in which children interact with adults,peers,views and events by directly manipulating objects.Because of the characteristics of children’s age and cognition,learning initiative plays a very important role in the construction of children’s knowledge.Based on the existing theory of the preschool children’ initiative learning,the paper use the method of literature,questionnaire and observation and take six kindergartens in Nanchong as the research object.It studies the current situation and problems of cultivating children’s learning initiative in Nanchong kindergarten,and analyze the existing problems and causes.Finally,it puts forward some targeted suggestions from two levels of teachers and kindergartens.Among the problems of the cultivation of children’ learning initiative in kindergarten,there are some problems in the cultivation of preschool children’learning initiative by different teachers:in regional activities,private kindergartens are worse than public kindergartens in the cultivation of children’s learning initiative;in the collective teaching,the top and middle class are inferior to the bottom class in kindergarten in the cultivation of children’s learning initiative;when the number of children in the classroom is too large or too small,the cultivation of children’ learning initiative is poor,in the cooperation between family and kindergarten,the master class teacher is worse than vice class teacher in the cultivation of children’s learning initiative;when the teacher’s seniority which is too long or too short,the cultivation of children’ learning initiative is poor.There are some problems in the cultivation of preschool children’ learning initiative by different ways:the cultivation of the internal motivation and action reflection in children’s learning initiative is insufficient in one day’s life;the cultivation of the internal motivation and the direct manipulation of objects in children’s learning initiative is insufficient in collective teaching;the cultivation of problem solving and action reflection in children’s learning initiative is insufficient in regional activities;uniform rhythm of life is not conducive to the cultivation of children’s learning initiative;too many reminders make children neglect the development of learning initiative in one day’s life;due to discipline management,too many criticisms on childre discourage the establishment of children’ learning initiative;the lack of correct guidance can not improve children’s learning initiative;it is not conducive to cultivate children’s learning initiative in regional activities by making rules entirely by teachers.According to the above problems,the article puts forward some specific suggestions.On the level of teachers:establishing a relationship of equal democracy between teacher and children,and build a partnership of communication and cooperation;making a flexible schedule and ensure the adequacy of time;creating a good class space environment to stimulate children’s learning initiative;improving the level of education and teaching,and lay stress on the development of teaching strategies.On the level of kindergartens:providing teachers with on-the-job training opportunities to improve teachers’ cognition and practice level;making full use of kindergarten space environment to ensure children’s learning initiative;laying stress on the implementation of the cooperation between family and kindergarten and ensure the consistency of education behavior;setting kindergarten curriculum rationally to cultivate children’s learning initiative. |
