Global trade has promoted the growth of the world economy,and globalization has also brought significant structural changes to the labor market of all countries.For the most developing countries,the traditional trade theories often believe that the developing countries relatively have more low skilled labor force,its comparative advantage is mainly reflected in the labor-intensive production of low-end.so trade liberalization will increase the demand for low skilled labor.relativly.In fact,we really see significant changes in the internal employment structure of most countries in the process of integration into the global market.In the world of economic globalization,China and other developing countries are experiencing a era when high skilled labors are highly demanded,and low skilled labor are relativly surplus,which is in contradiction with the traditional trade theory obviously,then the so-called “employment skill structure paradox” produced.What is the cause of the labor skill structure paradox? What's the impact factors changed the structure of employment?Does the FDI and vertical specialization play a positive role in promoting the upgrading of value chain or solidifying the “comparative advantage trap” of developing countries?All these problems are needed further theoretical exploration and empirical verification.Especially in the study of employment skill structure at home and abroad,the relationship between FDI and vertical specialization is often ignored.In order to solve the above problems,This article has discussed from the angle of theory,demonstration and countermeasure.First,we have explained the reason why study the influence of foreign direct investment and vertical specialization on structure of employment skills,and carded the relevant papers.Then defined the concept of structure of employment skills,vertical specialization and interaction effect.Through constructing model and combing theoretical analysis,we have deduced the mechanism of interaction between FDI and vertical specialization,so as to build an analysis framework for influencing factors of structure of employment skills.Then,based on the panel data of 12 industries in China from 2001 to 2015,we have builded an empirical model to analyze the influencing factors of structure of employment skills and the interaction mechanism of interaction items.Finally,on the basis of theoretical analysis and empirical analysis,the corresponding conclusions and policy suggestions are obtained.Through theoretical analysis and empirical test,this paper draws the following conclusions:(1)Different factors have different influence on structure of employment skills;(2)The paradox of " employment skill structure" is related to R&D input.Then suggest:(1)Pay attention to the effect of foreign direct investment and expand the technology spillover effect.(2)Participate in the vertical specialization actively,and avoid the expansion of the income gap.(3)Increase investment in R &D and establish a good institutional environment for enterprises.
