The Discourse Research Of Feminist We Media

With the development of the Internet media,the We Media has entered people's life.The We Media is different from the traditional media in terms that it has no specific audience and is without information specifications.In this new virtual world,the power structure of gender has been rebuilt,and traditional power and customs redefined,so that people in the We Media can make a different choice.On the other hand,the rise of the female economy has brought the feminist issue into the We Media which transformed it into an important position for feminism to fight for its discourse power.Based on the Feminist We Media,this research chose feminism from the sina microblog as samples,and investivated the self-presentation of feminism in the We Media from perspectives of media discourse and the external environment.According to the statistical study of the samples through discourse analysis,three key features are found in the discourse of the Feminist We Media:First,topics related to gender violence and gender discrimination are mostly concerned on Feminist We Media.In the context of the We Media,the main demand of female discourse is security and protection for basic rights;Second,topics that closely related to people's life is more frequently discussed,compared with those on political or public issues;Third,gender discourse confrontation still exists on the network.Although the development of the Feminist We Media brought more opportunities for female discourse,the most riveting and sympathetic topics are still those related to the most basic needs.Objectively speaking,the Feminist We Media has positive influence in terms of promoting the acceptance of female discourse and breaking the original structure of female subordination and marginalization.The most important function of the Feminism We Media discourse is to reconstruct female images mainly by breaking the traditional stereotype of female images.It can also bring changes in gender consumption and liberate women from simply being consumption objects.Furthermore,It realizes the transformation of female demands expression,shifting it from personal narration to collective narration,and thus promote the unity of women in the whole society.In the context of the We Media,women can use fictional identity to construct new gender identity.However,with feminism's voice becomes louder on the media platform,criticism,accusations and even insults have also increased,the stigma of feminism prevails.In the contextof network,serious discourses are dissolved and the feminist thoughts misunderstood.All these have impeded the development of feminist discourse and the Feminist We Media.In such an environment,the development of feminism on the We Media and the transmission of feminist ideas are the focus of this research.Through the study of the Feminism We Media,this research observes how feminist speak on the internet and analysis the condition of feminist discourse.It tries to find a more peaceful way to promote the interaction of male and female discourse.The best way to the construction of feminist discourse,is not to exceed the male hegemony,but to promote female internal awakening and try to open up a development path for them.
