High school chemistry is an important way for students to understand chemistry systematically and comprehensively.It is also a key course in the college entrance examination.And the real life is closely related to chemistry.Today's teaching focuses on the development of students in three dimensions.That is,knowledge and skills,process and method,and emotional attitude and values to meet students' different needs.In 2016,the concept of "core quality" was also proposed.It aims to cultivate talents with learning,innovation ability,correct values,scientific spirit and humanistic quality.The education concept advocated by Howard Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences is broadly consistent with the basic education reform and the overall requirements of "core literacy" in China.In this paper,guided by the theory of multiple intelligences,choice of teaching of part teaching contents of high school compulsory teaching material is designed and applied in practice.Through the combination of the two,it can promote the better mastery of chemical knowledge,cultivate students' ability to solve problems,and promote the development of students' multi-intelligence.Firstly,it discusses the necessity of the combination with multiple intelligence theory and chemistry teaching design.As a research background,it discusses the formation and development of the theory of multiple intelligences,main contents and characteristics and as a guide to the theory of multiple intelligences to design the teaching goals and ways.Besides,it chooses four of the top section(8 hours)content from high school chemistry compulsory teaching materials.It includes the REDOX reaction,"the elements-chlorine concentration in the water of the sea",the chemical energy to electrical energy,“the two common organic matter in life”.the content and characteristics of each section is analysed,the related designsare designed and displayed.Finally,chemistry teaching designs are practiced in the experimental class application under the guidance of the theory of multiple intelligences and that in comparative classes and teaching respectively.Then it designs a subsequent stage test for two classes to check the knowledge of chemistry.And it investigates questionnaire investigation for experimental classes and case study to test the growth of multiple intelligences.It interviews some teachers to understand the applicability of high school chemistry design under the guidance of the theory of multiple intelligences.Statistics,through a series of practice and results,it shows that the high school chemistry teaching design under the guidance of multiple intelligence theory as a new teaching method can improve the chemical scores to some extent and promote the development of student's multiple intelligences.In conclusion,applying the theory of multiple intelligences to teaching design enables us to understand the inclusion,significance and application value of the theory of multiple intelligences profoundly.With the combination of chemistry teaching design,on the one hand,it can cultivate students' comprehensive development and personality improvement,establish correct values and provide information for education development on the other hand.
