The full-time compulsory education mathematics curriculum standards states clearly: After the learning of the full-time education,students can acquire some necessary mathematics knowledge and some basic mathematical thinking to adapt themselves to the challenging world.Some study also shows that,in the full-time compulsory education period,especially in the elementary education,the younger the students are,the factors of ethnic background,customs and their knowledge will have more effects on their future mathematics performance.Therefore,if teachers introduce mathematics in everyday life into teaching in school,it will be more helpful to their mathematics study.These ideas are what ethnic education advocate.China is a multicultural country with 55 ethnic minorities,ethnic mathematics education calls for the integration of folk mathematics into math teaching.However,the current domestic folk mathematics research is relatively ignored.what is folk mathematics? And what is the mission of folk mathematics and how to integrate folk math into mathematics teaching? There is rare research about how to combine folk mathematics with teaching.This study is based on the literature review,mainly through the literature method,questionnaire,interview method and classroom observation,combining qualitative and quantitative practices to integrate Bai folk mathematics into primary mathematics teaching.It mainly solves the following three problems.First,what is the current situation of the integration of Bai folk mathematics into primary school mathematics teaching? Second,how does Bai folk mathematics integrate into primary school mathematics teaching? What is the method of integration? Third,what is the effect of integrating the Bai ethnic math into primary school mathematics teaching? How is the effect of integration?The study obtained the following conclusions:First of all,the study of Bai mathematics in primary school mathematics teaching found that teachers and students are familiar with the mathematical elements in the Bai culture,however,they lack of this concept.Teachers and students have high expectations of Bai folk mathematics and they are willing to participate in this investigation and research.However,many students do not like learning mathematics.If you think of ways to start from the student's life,fully combine the mathematical elements in the Bai ethnic culture with teaching practice.Both teachers and students believe that it is possible to make the classroom full of vitality and will stimulate students' interest in learning.Second,for the Studies of integration of Bai folk mathematics into mathematics teaching: Add-on mode,Copy mode,Compliant model and Reconfigured mode are all effective ways included.Futher more,it should be combined with specific materials and topics for selection.The study designed four corresponding teaching topics for the four integration methods respectively,including the teaching design of the “Number 3,5,and 7 awareness” in numbers and algebra,teaching design “Bai costumes,geometry in architecture” in space and graphic,teaching design of "Mathematics in Bai Children's Games" in Probability and Statistics,teaching Design of "Mathematics in Bai Language" in Comprehensive PracticeFinally,on the basis of instructional design,the study has practiced the integration of the four topics into the teaching design of Bai folk mathematics.Through questionnaire surveys,interviews and classroom observations,students and teachers analyzed the practical effects of the integration of Bai ethnic folk math into primary school mathematics teaching.Researchers found that by studying the combination of Bai ethnic folk mathematics content and practice,students feel that they are surrounded by mathematics,which inspires students' interest in learning mathematics and their sense of national pride,which in turn improves their academic performance.It expended the horizontal of teachers and students,as well as developed the abilities of teachers and students,and also provided teachers with some new perspectives.When teachers teach some mathematics knowledge,they will actively use these previous integration ideas,experiences methods;focus on the Bai's mathematics,relationship between school mathematics and Bai's mathematics.The integration of Bai into primary school mathematics teaching is more conducive to inheriting,protecting,promoting,and developing these precious Bai folk cultures.The innovation of this research is that,focusing on the three research factor,elaborating on the theoretical level and conduct research,consideration,and evaluation on the practical level.The purpose of this practical process is not mainly on each simple mathematics knowledge.On the one hand,it focuses on teaching students' mathematics ideas,methods,and to improve students' interest in mathematics learning and improve their mathematical literacy.What's more,it is to increase the national pride of the Bai students and arouse their sense of urgency in protecting and inheriting the Bai folk culture.The study only considers and analyzes the three dimensions of the integration of Bai's mathematics,include the theoretical basis of primary school mathematics teaching,the method of integration,and the effect of integration.Actually a lot of other factors worth investigating,such as from the perspective of micro experiments,which is great theoretical value and practical value to set up experiment classes and influence the study of Bai's mathematics on students' mathematics learning interest.Furthermore,in-depth studies can be made from this aspect in the future.
