It's a research hotspot and trend that students sit around for cooperative learning.Sitting around in the loose,open,and free-style way students can be more comfortable and more efficient through the whole learing process.With the automatic measurement of students' behavior in collaborative learning,we can form the multi-dimensional analysis and feedback of students' participation and concentration,which provides scientific basis for teaching process evaluation and can effectively promote the research of teaching process evaluation.In the context of collaborative learning,this paper studies about the recognition,analysis and evaluation of student behavior based on body information and finishes the job for the design and implementation of related systems.The main contribution of this paper is to propose the measurement indicators of student participation and concentration in collaborative learning and complete the verification of the relevant framework.This paper puts forward a scheme for placing somatosensory devices in the center of a round table to solve the problem that devices will appear to block each other when multiple people are identified for the way of multi-students sitting around in collaborative learning.With the use of Kinect,the system collects the students' somatosensory data in real time.Through the related discriminating methods in this paper,the speaker in the collaborative learning group and the head pose of the auditor can be identified effectively.Finally,an evaluation report is put forward for student participation and concentration in collaborative learning.The experimental results show that the method of measurement and can correctly recognize the speaking action and head orientation of the and prove the system is practical.We obtain the relevant conclusions of students' participation and concentration and student role,which helps improve the evaluation of students in cooperative learning.Meanwhile,the findings can provide important judgmental data for students' participation and concentration in courses conducted in an open,interactive and collaborative discussion way,like language classes or seminars.
