Survey Report On Current Situation Of Academic Environment In Colleges And Universities In Shanxi Province

A good academic environment is of great significance to cultivating talented people and stimulating their innovative potential.With the slogan of "mass entrepreneurship and innovation" deeply rooted in the hearts of people,innovation returns to the perspective of people's attention.As far as Shanxi Province is concerned,as an economically underdeveloped region and at the same time it is at a critical period of economic restructuring,the output and application of innovation results play a very important role in significantly improving the status quo.As an important place produced by innovation,the atmosphere of academic research directly affects the production of innovation.The domestic and foreign scholars' research on the academic environment in colleges and universities mainly focuses on three aspects: concept theory,problems and solutions.Therefore,it is of great significance to understand the current academic environment of colleges and universities in Shanxi Province to improve the academic environment and enhance the academic innovation ability of colleges and universities.Based on relevant documents of the State Council,this research investigates the status quo of academic environment in colleges and universities in Shanxi Province,and then finds out the problems therein and puts forward corresponding suggestions to provide a reliable basis for improving the academic environment in colleges and universities in Shanxi Province.This article focuses on the academic environment of universities and colleges in Shanxi Province,Shanxi University and Taiyuan University of Technology is the focus of the survey.The main work is as follows:Firstly,a literature survey and research method is used to investigate policy documents and research papers related to the academic environment of universities,and to fully understand the concepts involved in the research.Combined with the specific situation of colleges and universities in Shanxi Province,a questionnaire survey method was used to conduct specificpractical investigations on the research topics.This paper constructs an index system based on four aspects of academic integrity,scientific research management,academic democracy and talent growth.It designs a questionnaire suitable for the academic environment of Shanxi universities and colleges.After fully considering the opinions of the experts,the questionnaire was finalized and distributed to teachers from some colleges and universities of Shanxi University and Taiyuan University of Technology.Taking these two schools as representatives,the status quo of the current academic environment in colleges and universities in Shanxi Province was investigated.Secondly,sort out the questionnaires and analysis the data based on the valid questionnaires.A statistical study was conducted on each item in the questionnaire,and then the status quo of the academic environment in colleges and universities in Shanxi Province was analyzed and sorted out.In addition,statistical analysis on the age,professionalism,professional title,and talent plan of scientific research personnel was conducted to highlight the different problems in different ages,professions,titles,and talent plans.At last,analyze the relationship between the four sub-environments of academic integrity,scientific research management,academic democracy,and talent growth and the overall environment.Finally,the results of the above data analysis were collated,and outstanding problems in the academic environment of Shanxi Province were summarized and corresponding reform measures or recommendations were proposed.From the analysis results of the questionnaire survey,we can see that the overall academic environment in Shanxi Province is currently not very optimistic.We must attach great importance to ideology and set up a special work coordination group to formulate corresponding policies from the top level;The problem of academic misconduct in the faculty is outstanding.It is necessary to increase publicity and education,internalize the norms of academic ethics and ideologically cure academic misconduct;The scientific research management system is not perfect,a reasonable management systemshould be established from the government to the school;Academic democratic rights are not sufficient,at the same time,the environment for the growth of talents is not ideal;Scientific research personnel should be guaranteed as much as possible about academic democracy and the right to communicate with each other,and a humanized growth training program should be developed.
