Track and field teaching has always been an important content of physical education courses in colleges and universities in China.this study intends to investigate the teaching environment,teaching content,teaching evaluation,teaching assessment,teaching methods,forms and students' ability evaluation of track and field specialized courses in 9colleges and universities in our province,analyze the existing problems in the track and field specialized courses teaching of physical education in colleges and universities in our province at present,and put forward the ideas and suggestions of reform,aiming at improving the teaching quality of track and field specialized courses,in order to provide new ideas and schemes for further deepening the teaching reform of track and field specialized courses in colleges and universities and cultivating compound sports talents in the new era.I hope it can provide some reference for exploring the ways and directions of track and field specialized course teaching reform.This paper uses the methods of literature,logic analysis,and so on,to review,sort and analyze the present situation of the special course of athletics education.There is no research literature directly related to the subject in foreign countries,but the study of practice teaching in sports major is worth our reference.There are a lot of researches on track and field specialty courses in domestic literature.This paper makes a research on track and field specialty courses in colleges and universities,this paper analyzes the problems encountered in the course selection of track and field in colleges and universities in china.puts forward some opinions.At present,there are 14 researches on the current situation of the track and field specialty in China.No research has been done on the reform of the track and field specialization course.Through the research,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The teaching content of special track and field teaching is limited to traditional movement technology teaching,and lacks physical and fitness teaching content.(2)Track and field elective courses attach importance to technical teaching,ignoring the teaching of theoretical courses.The use of track and field textbooks by students is low.(3)The traditional teaching model has insufficient teaching information,teaching efficiency is low,and the curriculum is rigid.The traditional teaching model cannot enable students to transfer the entire sensory organsto master the technical movements,thus failing to achieve high-efficiency teaching effects.(4)The content of the teaching assessment is single,and it is still assessed from attendance,movement techniques,and theoretical examinations as assessments in teaching assessment.(5)In the teaching of track and field,it is still mainly explained by teachers,and it lacks advanced supporting teaching methods.And put forward the corresponding teaching.(6)the employment situation of track and field majors in physical education is not optimistic,the students' comprehensive ability is not strong,and it is difficult to be competent in middle school physical education teaching.Reform proposals:(1)schools should provide more opportunities for student internship referee training to develop the level of teaching and judgement ability.(2)Change the previous concept of the theoretical class and pay attention to the study of the theoretical class.(3)Improve teaching aids to improve teaching efficiency.(4)Improve the content of the teaching materials to better connect the teaching in primary and secondary schools.(5)Overall improvement of students' comprehensive ability Comprehensive ability includes basic teaching ability,students' language ability,student demonstration ability,teaching organization ability,comprehensive teaching ability,innovation ability,and scientific research ability.(6)To change the contents of previous assessments,the final assessment should be based on comprehensive assessments of attendance,movement techniques,refereeing levels,organizational teaching standards,learning attitudes,and theoretical examinations.
