Under the background of course reform of the basic education,the new curriculum standard pinpoints that the goal of curriculum reform is to develop students' key competencies.The rapid developments of chemistry provide many advanced concepts for middle school basic chemistry teaching.For this reason,importing the frontier knowledge of chemistry to the fundamental teaching is conducive to improve key competencies of middle school students,ultivate interests in studying chemistry,develop scientific spirit and social responsibility.There are many achievements in scientific research of chemistry frontier knowledge at present,but the introducing of chemistry frontier knowledge into education is often related to higher education,especially to postgraduate education rather than undergraduate education.The application of middle school basic chemistry teaching is much less.The aim to improve students' chemical key competency is a hot topic in chemistry course of middle school.However most researches prefer to theory is investigation,but applying strategy and practical application have been seldom studied.In this paper,the introducing of chemistry frontier knowledge to chemistry basic teaching contents is summarized.Under the premise of ensuring the normal teaching content,combining chemistry frontier knowledge,such as the Nobel Prize,with the teaching process is proposed.It will provide teaching material for the updating of chemistry teaching in middle school,enhance students' interest in chemistry studying,cultivate the chemistry key competency,and improve teachers' professional development level.This research establish theoretical basis through the literature research method,including the theory of constructivism,zone of proximal development,Maslow's hierarchical theory of needs,education modernization theory,and STSE education.The hot topic in the field of chemistry is collected to design teaching fragments to provide teaching materials for teachers.Take the questionnaire survey method to understand students' cognitive attitudes,the way and situation,class satisfaction degree,interests of chemistry,etc.,and using statistical analysis method to analyze data.The interview method is used by face-to-face oral questions with teachers to get the teachers' attitude and the situation to chemistry frontier knowledge with the suggestions for improving chemistry class.The results shows that middle school students are interested in chemistry frontier knowledge,which can arouse the enthusiasm of chemistry learning,strengthen their love for chemistry.Teachers also think this way has practical significance to cultivate students' key competency,which can promote the transformation of chemistry class,comply with the concept of quality education.In addition to basic theoretical research,the effectiveness of the fusion method is further verified through teaching practice.By using two lessons as example,the teaching design including textbook analysis,student analysis,teaching aims,key points and difficulties,teaching methods and means,and teaching process are discussed,to provide teaching case about this field,find problem and improve it,propose practical applying strategies of the mode of teaching,including the combination of theory and practice,the selection of materials,the adoption of open teaching idea,the reasonable grasp of knowledge scale,control of class time,and fusion form diversification,etc.This research aims to put forward the methods to introduce chemistry frontier knowledge into chemistry basic teaching content,provide teaching materials and ideas,and promote teachers' knowledge of chemistry frontier knowledge.In the future,I will continue to adhere to this idea,expand teaching materials,strive to build a dynamic chemistry class,and the understanding of frontier knowledge of chemistry can be broaden to students.
