In recent years,with the implementation of the reform of mathematics curriculum in junior middle schools,it becomes a heatedly concerned issue by more and more teachers.That is how to improve the efficiency of classroom teaching and meanwhile develop students' abilities in different aspects.According to the requirements of the new mathematics curriculum standard:"Mathematics learning should be realistic,meaningful and challenging,which is beneficial to studentsactive observation,experiment,guessing,verification,deduction and communication.It should be an important way for students to learn maths by real practice,independent exploration and cooperative communication.Many scholars have proposed the group cooperation,the stratified teaching and other effective teaching methods,and some of them have carried on the research,and even have written the related papers.However,the implementation of group cooperation is becoming more difficult from primary school to junior middle school,because of the increasing capacity and abstraction of mathematics knowledge,combined with mixed classes and the increasing number of students in each class.The network structure of mathematical knowledge makes the mathematics concept,definition,algorithm,law and theorem have some inner relations within themselves and inter relations with each other.Therefore,it is recommended to teach mathematics knowledge through the way of network graph,highlighting the network structure of the mutual connection of mathematics knowledge.The concept map is an effective way to present the process of thinking and connection of knowledge through the visual way of the image,and thus it can guide the students to make meaningful construction.Therefore,teachers can greatly improve classroom efficiency by using concept map to assist in the teaching design and classroom teaching.In this paper,the author firstly summarizes the relevant research results and theoretical basis of the concept map at home and abroad,and then analyzes the current mathematics teaching examples of Junior middle schools.According to the experimental data,this paper then discusses the functions and influences of concept map in junior high school mathematics teaching,and summarizes the application strategies of concept map in mathematics teaching.
