Study On Social Work Of Improving The Communication Ability Of Grandparents And Parents

In the family life,family members often have differences,contradictions and even conflicts because of differences in ideas.Because of the difference of infants educational idea,grandparents and parents have a conflict and other unpleasant experiences,lmproving the communication ability of two generations can not only reconcile the differences between grandparents and parents in the educational concept of infants,promoting the physical and mental development of grandparents and infants,but also can dissolve the contradictions between grandparents and parents in the course of infant education,establish a more harmonious family relationships.The study found that when grandparents communicated with infants' parents,they had the following problems:Lack of initiative in communication;Single communication mode;When choosing the object,grandparents prefer to communicate with their children first;Expressing more than listening,focusing on each other's emotions more than focusing on each other's views;Communication can't achieve the desired effect.Both of them care about the healthy of infants,and both need to learn the knowledge of infants education.At the same time,they are motivated to communicate with each other and relevant experience,it's the advantage of them.It's beneficial to improve the communication skills of them,and coordinate the differences between the two generations in the family education.Social work as a professional to interact with people,has rich communication skills.In this context,the author use cognitive behavior theory and strength perspective to carry out the case service,through the process of interviewing two generations,to guide them to learn to listen,empathy,clarification and other communication skills,summing up the past communication experience,to help them to understand each other's emotions and awareness,to jointly develop and implement short-term communication goals and plans,to reconcile the differences between the two sides in the process of family education.The study found that social work intervention can create an equal communication platform for grandparents and parents,help them to express,listen,and accept each other's emotions and views.Assist them to reduce differences and build consensus on a specific issue to make family relations more harmonious.Social worker's communication way will affect the service object communication way,therefore the social worker unceasingly to enhance own communication skill.
