University faculty are the basis for higher education.With the continuous advancement of the "two-class" strategy,university faculty as "strategic resources" have been the targets for colleges and universities in all parts of the country to be protected and developing.At the same time,with the advancement of Internet power strategy,information technology has become an important force for the transformation of China into a powerful country in education.For China becoming internet and education power,it will inevitably bring new changes to the academic profession development of university faculty in the information era.University faculty as a special academic profession,its development involves teaching,research,management and other aspects of content,so the academic profession is more abundant.However,there are few studies on the content of academic profession development and the relationship between information technology and academic profession development of university faculty in the context of information technology.This research will focus on the status of academic profession development of university faculty in Hubei province on the background of informationization.Based on this,the main research contents of this study are as follows:(1)Research on the status quo of academic profession development of university teachers in Hubei Province in the information eraIt mainly based on the survey data collected to conduct basic descriptive statistical analysis,analysis of variance,and chi-square test,so as to study the academic profession development level of different university faculty groups,and differences between them.It will be a relatively comprehensive study of the levels and deferences of Hubei university faculty' academic profession in the information era.In addition,the research will also focus on the outstanding phenomena and problems of Hubei university faculty' academic profession development through the collation of the contents of interviews with university faculty.(2)Research on the influence of informatization work environment and activities on academic profession development of university faculty in Hubei provinceThis part of the study focuses on the changes in the academic profession development of university faculty in Hubei province in the context of informationization.It uses related analysis,analysis of variance and other methods to explore the relationship between the informatization environment and the academic profession contents of university faculty in Hubei province.At the same time,it discusses influences on the teaching,research,management,and training of university faculty from the aspects of information-based work environment and informationization activities.(3)Research on the internal and external environmental factors and countermeasures for academic profession development of Hubei university faculty in the context of informationizationThis section mainly discusses the internal and external environment factors,so that proposals for the academic profession development of university faculty in Hubei Province under the background of informationization would be submitted.Based on the literature review and data analysis in the previous period,the SWOT analysis method was adopted to analyze the internal advantages and disadvantages,external opportunities and challenges of the academic profession development of university faculty in Hubei Province under the informatization environment,so as to suggestions on teaching,scientific research,management,and training will be promoted to promote the sustainable development of academic profession for university faculty in Hubei province under the information environment.
