A Study Of Xi Jinping's Thoughts On Youth Ideal Belief Education

The "ideal belief",as a social consciousness and spiritual phenomenon,has class and contemporaneity natures.Given that china is a socialist country,the "deal belief e ducation" of China aims to instill Marxist socialism and communism into people's min d through effective education and guidance.Since the 18 th National Congress of Chin ese Communist Party,on a number of occasions such as National Conference on Ideol ogical Work in Colleges,Xi Jinping have given a series of keynote speeches in terms of youth education on ideal belief,by which formed his theoretical system of youth education on ideal belief.The system is of great theoretical and practical value to cult ivate the correct life pursuit and value orientation of contemporary young people and help them establish advisable ideals and beliefs.In this paper,we analyze the contemporary background and theoretical origins of Xi Jinping's thoughts on youth ideal belief education and point out that it was based on the Marxist classical writers' attitudes towards the youth ideal belief education,and that it was also developed from the Chinese Communist predecessors' theories of the youth ideal belief education.Moreover,referring to the important essence of Xi Jinpi ng's series speeches,we summarize his thoughts on youth ideal belief education from several aspects,including the "Chinese dream" connotation,the education methods of f ocusing on studying education,moral formation and practical cultivation,its "higher-tha n-heaven" significance as the "calcium" of youth's spirit and "the first button" of their lives and its goal of achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.We also point out that the thoughts has the characteristics of theoretical continuity,human-orie nted,realistic feasibility and remarkable linguistic popularity,therefore is significant bo th theoretically and practically.Furthermore,we discuss the approaches for colleges an d universities to implement Xi Jinping's thoughts on youth ideal belief education,like educating students on curriculum,in culture,by Internet,through practice,et cetera.
