Li Dazhao is a famous Chinese thinker,politician,proletarian revolutionist and firm Marxist.At the same time,he is also the earliest educational theorist and educational practitioner of the Communist Party of China.In the long-term educational practice,it has formed a profound proletarian education ideology and made great contributions to the cultivation of outstanding revolutionary youth and successors.Education is the basic factor that determines a country’s prosperity and development.The report of the 19 th National Congress of the CPC sets forth the requirements for education.We must fully implement the Party’s education policy,fulfill the fundamental tasks of the enhancing morality and fostering talents,vigorously develop quality education,and further promote educational fairness,so as to train builders and successors who are well developed morally,intellectually,physically and aesthetically for China.Li Dazhao’s educational thoughts have certain enlightenment and guiding significance for us to carry out and implement the educational spirit of the 19 th party Congress and promote the development of education in China.Li Dazhao’s educational thoughts were influenced by other famous educators and thinkers in modern China.continuous formation and development of long-term educational practices,the main contents of Li Dazhao include four aspects.That is,the education thoughts of workers and peasants,youth education thoughts,personality education thoughts and women’s education thoughts,all of which constitute a valuable asset in the history of Chinese education.This paper uses the methods of literature research,historical analysis,and induction to study and analyze the whole educational thought of Li Dazhao.From the social and historical background and practical foundation of Li Dazhao’s educational thought,the thesis explores the main contents of his educational thought.It also analyzes and summarizes its main contents,combines some problems which exist in education in China,and applies Li Dazhao’s educational thoughts to the reform and development of education in our country,in order to provide useful reference for the development and reform of education in China.Li Dazhao’s educational thought not only enriched and developed the theory of Marxist education,but also gave corresponding guidance to the development of China’s current educational cause.
