Study On The Crisis Treatment Of The Chinese Delegation Of The Rio Olympic Games

With the vigorous development of sports industry,the scale of large-scale sports events is increasing and the frequency of hosting is increasing.The development of international competitions is also increasing.At the same time,because of the large scale of the events,the number of participants,the multifarious rules and the diversity of facilities and equipment,the frequency of the crisis has increased.The 2016 Olympic Games in Rio in recent years is the Chinese delegation to attend the Olympic Games one of the biggest events,but the race of the recent Olympic Games is the worst,netizens' called black is the most.From the perspective of the Chinese delegation,this paper studies the representative crises and the handling of the crisis of the Chinese delegation in Rio Olympic Games.First,by using the method of literature,we summarize the past research situation of sports event crisis and the representative crises encountered by Chinese delegation in Rio Olympic Games.Secondly,using case analysis method,taking the crisis and its handling of the Chinese delegation in Rio Olympic Games as an example,we use crisis management theory and situational crisis communication theory to analyze the way of crisis management of Chinese delegation.At the same time,it compared the treatment of the crisis experienced by the Chinese delegation with the treatment of similar crises in previous large-scale events,and to analyze whether the Chinese delegation is right in dealing with crises.After analysis,the author found that the outbreak of the crisis in large-scale events,triggered by the crisis team external factors is an type of crisis is inevitable;caused by internal factors of team management and personnel in the prevention of crisis is the crisis,can be avoided.Through the analysis of the crisis management of the Chinese delegation,the author proposes to improve the survival and development environment of the Chinese delegation from three aspects: strengthening the hard strength,improving the soft power and constructing the skillful strength,so as to avoid the crisis as much as possible.In the hard strength,we need to strengthen the economic construction and improve the competitive performance.In the soft power,we should strengthen the foreign cooperation,strengthen the international sports discourse power,understand the international rules of the competition,strengthen the internal management and improve the quality of the athletes.In the field of skillful strength,we need to strengthen the publicity,let the star athlete to be good communication channels,and actively communicate with the audience.The innovative points of this paper are shown in two aspects: first,the research angle is new,and this article is studied from the point of view of the specific organization of the Chinese delegation.Second,the research content is new.The main research content of this paper is to analyze weather the Chinese delegation has properly dealt with the crisis in the Rio Olympic Games.
