Badminton is a competitive sport with high speed,high skill and high competition.Because of its strong ornamental value,it has gained popularity and recognition among people all over the world.The modern badminton is developing very quickly with the help of the development of science and technology.The rhythm and speed of the athletes on the field is being faster and faster.The ball controlling ability is continuously enhanced,the hitting points are precise and plentiful,The rounds are more and more,the hitting power is stronger and stronger,the competion is intenser and intenser.So the sport puts forward a higher requirement on the reasonable application of player’s tactics and the stability of player’s psychological quality.My thesis is mainly using the method of literature study,video observation,mathematical statistics and comparative analysis and other methods to analysis Marin—— the world’s best women’s badminton single player.I use comparative analysis to compare Marin and other excellent players in serving and receiving balls,front,midfield,backcourt technology features.Finally I find the key to marin’s success.This is my conclusions;1.There is a big difference between Marin and the world’s other excellent players on serving balls.Marin always serves with the backhand,but most of the rest of the world’s outstanding women’s singles players still serve with forehand.Because Marin possess the characteristic of man’s singles players.2.Marin mainly focuses on rubbing,pushing and picking the ball in the front field,and she is very active in catching the service.She is mainly using smash and flat clear when receives the backcourt ball.She seldem uses drop ball and high clear ball.3.Characteristics of the full-court batting skills:The skills of the front field mainly consists of rubbing,picking and pushing balls,and combine crosscourt flight.The midfield skills are mainly by warding off near-net balls and drawing balls.Drawing ball is one of Marin’s most outstanding skill.The backcourt skill is mainly by smashing balls and floating clear balls,combine with the suspension ball and the high ball to make the transition,the flat clear balls can fully suppress the backcourt bottom line,and limit the effective play of the backcourt technology.Smashing ball is the main scoring skill of marlin,which is a very threatening technique to the opponent.
