In elementary mathematics,there is no better course than number theory to discover genius.Elementary number theory is a branch of number theory and has a long history.In the mathematics competition,the number theory question occupies the considerable proportion.Solving problems is a major characteristic of mathematics.The study of elementary number theory is inseparable from solving problems.The purpose of solving problems is to improve the ability of solving problems.This article will start with all kinds of high school mathematics competition questions at home and abroad,mainly through three parts to study the elementary number theory problem in the mathematics competition.The first part: the content research and case analysis of elementary number theory problem in mathematics competition.The second part: the common strategies to solve the elementary number theory problems in mathematics competition,and give examples to illustrate the practical application of these strategies.The third part: the research on the background of the number theory problem in the mathematics competition and prepare some background math contest questions.The last part is the summary and prospect of this paper.
