Originating from Pepper's Ghost,pseudo-holographic display technology utilizes optics principle to produce virtual images through projection,similar to those produced through holographic projection.Pseudo-holographic display and holographic projection both embrace immersive and experiential viewing experience in comprehensive directions of 360°.Due to its immersion,interactivity and high adaptation with use of solely naked eyes,pseudo-holographic display technology is suitable to be promoted in practical teaching.On top of characteristics of pseudo-holographic display technology,current backdrop of Information Age and curriculum reform requirements are integrated in this paper to formulate the process to standardize the application of pseudo-holographic display technology in teaching,and situation learning and control experiments are adopted to progressively demonstrate the application of pseudo-holographic display technology in physics class in middle school.The paper proposes that the development of application of pseudo-holographic display technology in teaching should conform to principles of "supporting" role,"extraordinary" content selection,"students" as the core and "mind" stretching.Through the development and design of teaching experiments of the physics class in middle school,namely The Movement of Planets,practical effects of pseudo-holographic display technology in class teaching in middle school are explored in this paper.The conclusion is drawn in the end: that pseudo-holographic display technology is featured with satisfying display effects,strong operational feasibility,reasonable resource input and effective stimulation to students' learning motives,indicating its significant practical meaning and value in teaching under practical environment.
