Self-control is an important part of strengthening college students'self-education and improving the effect of ideological and political education.The network self-control is a kind of special self-control,which refers to the concrete manifestation of individual's adjustment of their cognition,emotion and behavior in the process of using the network.With the rapid development of mobile technologies,the Internet is increasingly favored by this particular group of college students for its features of functionality,convenience,privacy,etc.,constantly changing their ideological concepts and behaviors,and also posing a serious threat to the self-control of college students in the transitional period.Therefore,based on ideological and political education,it is of great significance to explore the development status,characteristics,and promotion strategies of college students'Internet self-control ability.The body of this article consists of four parts:The first part is theoretical research.On the basis of combing and sorting the concept of self-control at home and abroad,the concepts and structures of network self-control are proposed.Based on ideological and political education,this paper further explains the significance of strengthening the Internet self-control of college students and lays a theoretical foundation for this article.The second part is the status quo study.Through interviews and self-development of the Questionnaire on Self-control by College Students when Using the Internet,this article investigates college students' time spent on the Internet,frequency of Internet access,purpose of Internet access,self-control of the Internet,and influencing factors.The results showed that:1.The frequency of online surfing of college students is high;Dependency is strong;"fragmentation" is used significantly;2.College students have diversified online activities and lack of proper motivation;3.There is a certain lack of network self-control in college students;4.Through the subject and object factors can effectively improve the college students'self-control network.The third part is the cause analysis.Based on the analysis of the status quo,this paper analyzes the college students' self-control on the three dimensions of cognition,emotion,and behavior,combines the network environment and the ideological and political education environment,analyzes the factors of undergraduates' self-control from the aspects of college students' psychological characteristics,school education level and network environment.The fourth part is the analysis of the countermeasures.Based on the analysis of the status quo and the causes,this paper proposes the educational countermeasures of cultivating college students' Internet self-control ability.Incorporating the network self-control into the category of self-education in the new era,it expands the concept,connotation,means and evaluation methods of ideological and political education.This part corresponds to the influencing factors,and cultivates college students'network self-control power from the three perspectives of main education construction,school education construction and platform education construction,,so as to provide practical guidance for college students' self-control network.
