With the development of the "Thirteenth Five-Year" education plan,the majority of primary and secondary education administrators have further increased their attention to students’ after-school life.Rural private boarding schools,where students spend a lot of time in school,have high learning pressure.Can students and teachers form correct attitudes and perceptions of after-school life,can arrange students’ after-school life reasonably,and form an objective world for students? The correct understanding and improving the degree of student socialization play an important role.This article takes Husserl’s life world theory as the field of vision and adopts the questionnaire survey method as the main method.The interview method and observation method supplement the research methods.Study on the current situation of extracurricular life of boarding students,the study was conducted on rural residential boarding schools in Henan Province.Studies have shown that students in school have the following problems: they have less time outside school,lack of content and monotony,lack of planning and organization,and students and teachers pay less attention to after-school life.The reasons for this are concentrated in the aspects of school administrators and teachers’ lack of understanding of students’ after-school life,unreasonable team construction,students’ heavy workload,and insufficient investment.Based on this,we put forward measures to improve the non-residential boarding students’ living in rural areas in the conceptual,institutional,personnel,and operational aspects of after-school life.Thesis mainly includes the following aspects:The first part is mainly about the research background and significance of the paper,the purpose of the research,the theoretical basis of the study,the relevant literature,the research design and methods.The second part describes the current situation of extra-curricular life of students in private boarding schools in rural areas.Take the S private high school as an example.Describe the current situation of after-school students’ life in sample schools,including student and teacher attitudes and understanding of after-school life,plan for after-school life,organization and participation,content of after-school life,planning of time,application of equipment and venues.The third part analyzes the problems and causes of the extracurricular life of students in private boarding schools in rural areas.The fourth part proposes related strategies and suggestions for solving the problems of the secondary school students living in rural areas after school.
