"Observation/operation" is a frequent occurrence of vocabulary in junior high school chemistry classroom teaching,which runs through all aspects of chemistry class.which belong to the "Process and Methods" target areas of the"2011 Junior Chemistry Curriculum Standards(experiment)"."observation/operation" is a set of behaviors,which students must be acquired in junior middle school Chemistry class.To achieve in Junior Middle School Chemistry Teaching Objectives,and to improve students' "observation/operation" ability via teaching,we have to create appropriate teaching situation,develop students'"observation/operation" consciousness;organize appropriate teaching activates,activate students""observation/operation" behavior.This paper is divided into six parts:The first part:Introduction.Starting from the purpose of chemistry education,cultivating and developing the ability of students' observation,operation,thinking and self-learning,and from the investigation of ninth-grade students' Chemistry class learning and the needs for chemistry classes,this part described the background of this research,the significance and purpose of the study,recent development,main contents,research methods and ideas.The second part:This section gived a brief overview of the theoretical basis for guiding this research,and expounded the inspiration of the theories for our study.The third Part:Based on real case analysis of the teaching process which is unbeneficial to fostering observation/operation capability in the ninth-grade chemistry class,this part analyzed deficiency of the teaching ability of observation/operation from four aspects and three dimensional(cognition,emotion,and manipulation skill)targets.The fourth Part:The teaching process case design and practice for cultivating "observation/operation ability" in the ninth-grade chemistry class.Separately carrying out case design and Practice Teaching for four parts of ninth-grade chemistry class.The fifth part:According to the case design and practice effect of teaching process of students'observation/operation" ability training in ninth-grade chemistry class,a questionnaire survey andcomarative analysis on performances were carried out.The sixth Part:Conclusion.This part summaried this paper and descrbed the problems in the teaching case design and practice,so the author can overcome deficiencies in subsequent research,enrich teaching cases more deeper analyse the problems of the current junior high school students'lack of the ability to observe/operate,and explore more targeted and more popular teaching measures.
