A Study On Xi Jinping's Thought Of Youth's Social Responsibility

A country will be full of hope and have a great tomorrow only when its younger generations have ideals,ability,and a strong sense of responsibility.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC),Xi Jinping,general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee,has put forward a series of new thoughts,ideas and judgments concerning youth's social responsibility,which is rich in thoughts of youth' social responsibility.Xi Jinping's thought of youth's social responsibility is a idea-leading and action-guiding program for contemporary youth' education in social responsibility.It is of great theoretical and practical significance to strengthen the study on Xi Jinping's thought of youth's social responsibility in order to enable contemporary youth to shoulder the historic mission of achieving the great national rejuvenation.Therefore,this paper tries to summarize the theoretical and practical foundation,key content,ideological characteristics and epochal value of Xi Jinping's thought of youth's social responsibility.Besides,it aims to put forward countermeasures accordingly concerning the practice of Xi Jinping's thought of youth's social responsibility in universities.The main body of this paper can be divided into four parts.The first part is mainly about the practical and theoretical basis for the formation of Xi Jinping's thought of youth's social responsibility.The practical part contains four dimensions,from developing youth themselves to creating a community of shared future for mankind.The theoretical part is illustrated from three dimensions,from Marx's thought of social responsibility to the traditional thought of social responsibility by Confucianism.The second part tries to summarize the main content of Xi Jinping's thought of youth's social responsibility and then illustrate its epochal,inherited and systematic characteristics by arranging and organizing Xi Jinping's speech manuscripts.The third part illustrates the epochal value of Xi Jinping's thought of youth's social responsibility from theoretical and practical aspects respectively.The forth part tries to illustrate the present status of university students' practice of social responsibility from four aspects,including educational content,form,environment and social practice.What's more,it aims to come up with some concrete countermeasures about full implementation of Xi Jinping's thought of youth' s social responsibility in universities.
