| Junior High School Chemistry is the enlightenment education of Chemistry.The teaching of basic concepts is the most important part of Junior High School Chemistry.Students’ difficulties in understanding chemical concepts is induced by the abstraction of some chemical concepts and lack of comprehension.In present period,Junior High School Chemistry basic concepts teaching mostly adopts direct teaching and spoon-feeding.This kind of teaching method ignores the law of students’ psychological cognition.It is not only not conducive to the cultivation of students’ learning ability,but also detrimental to the all-round development of quality education.This directly influences the realization of chemistry curriculum objectives and teaching effectiveness,which is one of the topics in the development of classroom teaching.This paper summarizes and analyzes the theoretical basis and research status,discusses the influencing factors of Junior High School Chemistry concepts teaching by literature review.Interviews are adopted to understand some teachers’ perceptions and opinions about Junior High School Chemistry concepts teaching.By using the method of questionnaire,the students’ basic learning situation is understood.The feasibility of implementing 5E teaching mode in Junior High School Chemistry concepts teaching is analyzed.The implementation strategy of 5E teaching mode is also studied.Finally,control variable method is used for a three-months teaching experiment,and relevant teaching cases are listed.In the teaching process,it shows that compared with the traditional teaching method,the 5E teaching mode is more conducive to stimulating students’ interest in learning.At the same time,5E teaching mode is more conducive to the cultivation of students’ ability to discover problems,raise questions,think and solve problems,and strengthen their confidence in learning.Through analyzing the data of Chemistry scores of two classes of Grade 2 in the practice school,the results of 5E teaching experiment class are obviously better than those of the control class.Although this teaching experiment is only small,it can also indicate that this teaching method is worthy of being popularized and applied,which can promote the teaching of Junior High School Chemistry basic concepts. |
