Scientific concepts are the foundation of learning scientific knowledge.The field of early childhood science in the Guide to the Learning and Development of Children aged 3-6 years also places special emphasis on the development of the concept of early childhood science.It is necessary to pay attention to the preconceptions of learners,which is the starting point for scientific education of young children.Therefore,this study takes light and shadow,the scientific concepts involved in magnetism as an example,and tries to find out preconceptions related to light and shadow and magnetic of young children in order to have a better understanding of them and put forward relevant recommendations for early childhood science education.In this study,The author conducted one-to-one interviews with children aged 5 to6.The major research findings are:(1)The preconceptions of young children is intuitive.(2)The preconceptions of children is subject to the influence of physical characteristics.(3)The preconceptions of children is based on personal experience.(4)Some of the preconceptions of children are stubborn.(5)The former scientific concept of children has the separation of saying and doing.(6)Operation causes children to abandon wrong cognition and generate new interference knowledge.(7)The preconceptions of young children is full of children's interest and imagination.(8)Children of the same age group have different levels and different directions in the same scientific phenomenon.
