People often say that the 21st century is the era of leadership.In fact,the term leadership has been mentioned by many scholars.With the changes of the times,the value and evaluation of leadership have changed.Leadership is to motivate members,work with other members to solve problems,effectively achieve goals,and make teams full of vitality.At present,the applied research on training middle school students' leadership is rather poor.This article selected 16 eighth-grade students as an experimental group in a middle school in Yanji city through volunteer registration and re-screening.16 leaders were used as a control group to conduct the pre-testing of the level of leadership.Data processing was performed using spss22.0 software to test two groups'homogeneity.Based on the five dimensions of the middle school students' leadership level and the characteristics of physical and mental development of middle school students,a group counseling program for middle school students was developed.In the experimental group,16 students received group psychological counseling,while the control group did not participate in group counseling.Activities,without any intervention,after the intervention,the students in the experimental group and control group completed the post-test of the leadership level scale.It used spss22.0 software again for data analysis,in order to further understand the effectiveness of leadership group counseling.After the period of group counseling,students are asked to write a feeling sheet.Three months later,the experimental group was asked to fill out the leadership level questionnaire for a delay test and test continuity.The study draws the following conclusions:1.Leadership group counseling can effectively improve the Korean leadership level of middle school students,especially in the teamwork,decision-making,and leadership skills.2.The effect of middle school leadership group counseling is stable.Based on the above conclusions,as well as the lack of research,there are some suggestions:1.Applying group counseling to students' mental health class.2.The scope of expanding research objects has spread to more middle school students.3.Set up formal leadership courses.
