Because of the influence of traditional examination-oriented education,the current ideological and political classroom still has a certain degree of emphasis on knowledge transfer,light ability training,and emphasis on theory and light practice.Although the traditional teaching methods have some advantages in imparting knowledge within unit time,the effect is not obvious in implementing the new curriculum reform requirements and promoting the all-round development of students.Under the background of new curriculum reform,case teaching method has greater advantages in developing students’ ability to get information,read information,analyze problems and solve problems.This paper makes a preliminary analysis and elaboration on the case teaching method from the angle of theory and practice.On the basis of which,the necessity and feasibility,the basic steps and the problems should be noticed of using the case teaching method in the course of "Economic Life" are discussed,trying to provide a method for senior high school political teachers.This paper,based on practice,combines with the current high school political classroom teaching,and explores the application of case teaching method in "Economic Life".This paper is divided into four parts.The first part discusses the background and significance of the topic select,and based on the review of the current situation of domestic and foreign research,simply illustrates the research method of this paper.The second part defines the concept of case and case teaching method,and generalizes the characteristics of case teaching method from the difference between case teaching method and other teaching methods,and introduces the theoretical basis of using case teaching method in high school political lesson teaching in "economic life",namely Bruner’s discovery learning theory,the student-centered teaching thought of quality-oriented education,and the inspiration and guidance of Confucius.The third part analyzes the necessity and feasibility of applying the case teaching method in the course of "Economic Life".It analyzes the necessity of using the case teaching method from the requirements of the new curriculum reform and the function of the case teaching method;and analyzes the feasibility of the application of case teaching method from the characteristics of the content of the teaching material of "Economic Life" and the operability of the case teaching method.The fourth part discusses the basic aspects of using the case teaching method,including case preparation,case presentation,case discussion and evaluation of four aspects,to provide a way for the political teachers in the use of case teaching method in practical teaching;and put forward some problems should be noticed in using case teaching method,including case teaching method is not applicable to all the teaching content of "Economic Life",the relationship of case teaching method and traditional teaching methods,students’ consciousness of participating in case teaching.There are many shortcomings which still need to be discussed.
