Research On Social Support Of Rural Left-behind Women In S Village Of Zhouzhi County

With the acceleration of urbanization,China's rural male labor force has poured into the urban society for a certain period of time.Affected by traditional gender culture in China,different gender groups have different division of labor,and husbands usually work in cities.Men's mobility is higher and their wives stay at home.This creates a unique group of "left behind women" in rural society.The family responsibilities that should have been assumed by the family and husband and wife together fall on one person who stays behind.They are increasingly exposed to various problems in their labor production and life.They become vulnerable groups in the society and should receive the attention of the whole society.Based on the disadvantaged status of left-behind women,they are also imperfect in the social support system,which is detrimental to their own development.This article takes the left-behind women in S village of Zhouzhi County as the research object,and uses the questionnaire survey method and case interview method to obtain the data.First of all,the author investigates and understands the status quo of their social support from the aspects of emotional support,tool support,and communication support,and can find out that relatives occupy the main position in the emotional support and tool support of left-behind women in S villages.Non-relatives are in support of communication.The main role they choose.On the other hand,this situation has also led to problems and difficulties in their emotional,instrumental,and communication support.Secondly,the analysis of the causes of these problems is focused on.The main reasons for the social support problems of women left behind in S villages are the monotony of social support,weak social support,and lack of self-support system.Finally,in light of the current status and predicament,the author believes that there is a need to increase government support for formal support,improve the basic role of existing support,give full play to the advantages of staying behind women,and effectively improve the social support status of left-behind women in many aspects.Improve their quality of life.
