With the vigorous development of the science technology and information technology,MOOC,as a new kind of educational form,has got much attention by characteristics including its large scale,openness and free learning supports and it has leap over the space limits,which widely realizes educational participation.However,with Coursera Platform being one of three great platforms of American MOOC,the average completion rate of courses only accounts for 4% of the total registered number while that of domestic MOOC courses only accounts for 5% of the total registered number according to the research.Although the platform of MOOC offers learners a high autonomy to study,their persistence and motivation in learning has obviously decreased because of less attention for a long term and it's more likely to cause learners' loneliness in their studying process when the education problems that they encounter with cannot be solved timely.Hence the rate of dropping out from MOOC courses is a little higher,which is definitely a great challenge for the development of MOOC,and its low completion rate has become one of issues those cannot be ignored in terms of its development.The influential factor of MOOC's low completion rate-the adhesiveness of learners,namely,MOOC learners have an unenthusiastic learning behavior including their duration time,learning frequency and learning depth together with a poor learning will,hence the research in adhesiveness of MOOC learners becomes one of the top issues in the field of educational technology.Various factors influence the adhesiveness of MOOC learners,among which the social interactions' influence on adhesiveness of MOOC learners is included.This thesis focuses on the current learning condition of MOOC courses,and by using the method of literature review,it gives a comprehensive analysis of related literatures relevant to the theme of “social interaction”,“MOOC”,“adhesiveness ” and “the adhesiveness of learners” in the core journals at home and abroad published in recent ten years(2007-2017),besides,it generalizes the connotation of MOOC,social interaction,adhesiveness and that of learners.In basis of the sustainable utilization theory of information system,the self-efficacy theory,self-determination theory and the educational interaction theory,the model of social interactions' influence on the adhesiveness of MOOC learners is established with the combination of MOOC's characteristics such as its large scale,openness and the separation of time and space.The factors of this model involve the interaction motivation,the interactiondistance,the balance of independent activities and interacting activities,learners' satisfying degree ? educational interaction designs ? the supporting service of learning and their adhesiveness.In terms of the establishment of the model,learners who have experiences in MOOC are chosen as research objects and the questionnaire is made by taking followings as independent variables including the motivation of social interaction,educational interaction designs,supporting service of learning,interaction distance and the balance of independent activities and interacting activities with learners' satisfying degree as intermediary variables and MOOC learners' adhesiveness as dependent variable.Through using the statistical method of SPSS19.0,the thesis also analyzes ways to influence MOOC learners' adhesiveness in in five dimensions including the motivation of social interaction,educational interaction designs,the supporting service of learning,the interaction distance and the balance of independent activities and interacting activities.Also,it verified the availability of the Amos17.0 model.The result of statistical analysis shows that the balance of interaction motivation,the interaction distance,independent activities and interacting activities and learners' satisfying degree all have a positive influence on MOOC learners' adhesiveness.Both educational interaction designs and learning supporting service are able to influence learners' adhesiveness indirectly by affecting learners' satisfaction degree.Through the analysis of related statistics,this thesis offers a strategy to promote social interaction of MOOC and it aims to enhance learners' social interaction,stimulate their interests and persistence in learning,which will eventually realize the completion rate of MOOC and improve the course's quality.
