Nowadays,secondary vocational education is a part of vocational education system which attracts more attention all over China.Secondary mathematics,as a basic subject,follows the same teaching schedule as that of senior high school through which a integrated and systematic mathematical curriculum can be ensured without considering the foundation of vocational students and needs of other technical courses.Therefore,the contradiction between the present secondary mathematics arrangement and students' basis and requirement of other courses is increasingly prominent.It becomes more difficult to learn and teach math.The following research studies are conducted among students who majored in Electric locomotive operation and maintenance(Locomotive major)of a railway machinery school.First,to know the present mathematical level of students.Second,to figure out what knowledge and skills are needed.Third,to select proper content and make new arrangements of teaching material for these students to establish a new curriculum based on the two factors above.Besides,to check and revise through teaching.After the curriculum integration,students are more likely to be aware of the importance of learning math so as to raise their interest and Improved learning attitude.To achieve the goal of improving math performance.
