As an important part of Chinese education,special education is of great significance to the improvement of the national quality of our country.The professional development level of special education teachers is the main factor in restricting the development of special education.The teachers in newly built school of special education are transferred from the general school,whose professional development should draw especial attention.In this research,6 teachers in the special education school in Y county are studied by means of interview and observation,the research was carried out on the four aspects of whose professional development: teachers' professional ideas,teachers' professional ethics,teachers' professional knowledge and teachers' professional skills.In terms of professional concept,teachers' emotional identity is general,but their value recognition for special education is relatively high.Author finds teachers are more active in their work and can be tolerant and fair to the students,but the cooperation and communication between teachers are not good.In the field of professional knowledge,the knowledge of education evaluation and the psychological development of special children is insufficient,and the related theories of special education are not paid much attention to.The special needs of life.Y teachers' professional development of various problems,from the inside of teachers: weak professional foundation,less participation in scientific research,poor professional concept,low sense of achievement,from external factors: low treatment of special teachers,low social status,the effect of teacher training is not good,local government does not attach importance to the development of special education.In view of the current situation and influencing factors of the professional development of special education teachers in Y schools,the author tries to put forward seven countermeasures and suggestions: To promote special education legislation as soon as possible,increase the investment of special education funds,improve the treatment of special education teachers,increase the training of teachers' vocational education,increase the training of teachers' vocational education,improve the evaluation system of special teachers,and change the concept of special children's parents,etc.
