This study aims to explore the effect of different presentation methods of multimedia learning materials on the multimedia learning effects of different spatial ability learners.This study designed two experiments.In experiment 1,two factors(material presentation mode:animation vs.image)x 2(learner’s spatial ability:high vs.low)were used to design the interviewer to explore its effect on learners’ multimedia learning effects.Experiment 2,Pass 2(Control Type:Program Control vs.Learner Control)x 2(Presentation:Voice +Animation + Text vs.Voice + Animation)x 2(Spatial Capacity:High vs.Low)of the Tested Experimental design,further explore the impact of information presentation methods and learner spatial ability on learners’ multimedia learning effects.The results of the study found that:1.Compared with low spatial ability learners,high spatial ability learners have better learning effects;2.Compared with picture presentation methods,animation presents a significant improvement in learning effects,and "sound + dynamic" The form is better than the form of "sound + dynamic + text";3.There are significant interactions among the types of multimedia control,the presentation of learning materials,and the spatial ability of learners.4.When the learning materials are learner controls,there are textual explanations and no textual explanations for high spatial ability learners.In terms of learning effect test scores,there is no significant difference;for low spatial ability learners,the learning effect test scores are significantly different;5.When the learning material is program control,there is textual explanation and no textual explanation for high spatial ability For learners,there is a significant difference in learning performance test scores;for low spatial ability learners,there is no significant difference in learning effect test scores.The research has the following results:(1)The animation presentation method significantly improves the learning effect than the picture presentation method.(2)The learning effect of high spatial ability learners is better than that of low spatial ability learners.(3)In multimedia learning,the animation presentation mode will have a greater effect on the learning effect test results of low spatial ability learners.(4)The learning effect of learning materials presented in the form of "sound + animation" is better than that in the form of "sound + animation + text".(5)High spatial ability learners learn better under conditions of program control and under conditions of learner control with low spatial ability learners and without redundant words.
