With the development of the network information technology,Internet media has gradually penetrated into the traditional industries.and the proposal of the concept of“Internet Plus”has also brought new opportunities for the development of the educational cause,which is an extremely important part of the traditional industry.Some new educational models such as Online Education,Flipped Class,Mobile Learning are emerging.Only by conforming to the trends of this era can the traditional education cause achieve its own progress and development.IT has been applied to the field of primary and secondary education for more than 20 years since the first online school—101.CHINAEDU.COM was registered in China in 1996.Nowadays,the Internet media,based on desktop computers,notebook computers and tablet computers,have been integrated into the classroom of primary and middle school students.It has become a beautiful landscape in primary and secondary education and has a significant impact on it as well.Based on the above reasons,the author took some primary and secondary schools in Henan Province as the research objects,collected primary data through interviews and questionnaires.Based on the 5W model and “use and gratification”theory and other theories,this paper conducted empirical research on the influence of Internet media use on the education of primary and secondary schools in Henan.The study found that the use of desktop computers,notebook computers,and tablet-based Internet media in primary and secondary education in Henan Province is relatively common,and some schools have teaching classes in which every student has one computer.The use of Internet media in primary and secondary school teaching has greatly enriched the content and form of primary and secondary education and teaching,promoted the interaction and equality between teachers and students,and facilitated the interconnection and interoperability between home and school.At the same time,there are certain problems in the use of the Internet media in primary and secondary education.Such as,some teachers have a prejudice against theuse of the Internet media;Most middle and elementary school teachers and students have low media literacy;The quality of online education resources is insufficient;and the lack of network technical maintenance personnel,etc.The author proposes countermeasures for the above issues and looks forward to the future development of Internet media use in primary and secondary education.
