The development momentum of new media industry is strong.The appearance of different reading media makes people's reading behavior changes.In this historical background,teachers' reading methods must also be evolved.With the development of society and education,the demand for teachers' knowledge is getting higher and higher.Therefore,the professional development of teachers is attracting more and more attention.Among them,reading is an important way to promote teachers'self-development and professional development.In recent years,the question of teachers' reading gets more and more attention from scholars,but few to combine with the background.Therefore,in this study,taking the teachers of three primary school in Fuzhou as an example to investigate and analyze the current situation and causes of primary school teachers' reading behavior in the new media era,and puts forward some suggestions to optimize the reading behavior of primary school teachers in the new media age.This study discusses the following aspects:The first chapter is introduction,which mainly elaborates the research reason,the research significance,the research purpose and the research design,and defines three words:reading behavior,teacher's reading and new media.The second chapter is literature review.It mainly summarizes and combs the literature on reading,new media reading and teachers' reading at home and abroad.The third chapter is the investigation result and analysis of teachers' reading behavior in the new media era.Firstly,it analyzes the present situation from six aspects:reading time,reading media,reading content,reading methods,reading motivation and evaluation of the new media.Secondly,it discusses the positive and negative effects of new media on the reading behavior of primary school teachers,and finally explains the causes of the present situation.The fourth chapter is from the perspective of teachers and the external environment,puts forward some suggestions on how to improve the reading behavior of primary school teachers in the new media era.The last part is the conclusion,which summarizes the research and analyzes the deficiency of the research.
