Study On Exploring Local Geography Course Resourses

Local geography teaching is to cultivate students’ awareness of local,make them aware of the environment they live in,depicting enhance the students love home,love the motherland.However,actually,due to the lack of teachers’ local geography teaching consciousness,the lack of local geography teaching materials and so on,so that many areas,especially underdeveloped areas of local geography teaching become empty talk.now,the primary and secondary schools in Qingshui County has not have shaping books to show students rich cultural heritage,the status of local geography education is not optimistic.Therefore,it is the obligatory duty of a geography teacher to study and develop the resources of the local geography courses of Qingshui County,and also the key to implement the national three-level courses management system.First of all,through the literature research method,the paper analyzes the research progress of the local geography at home and abroad,and defines the related concepts of the local geography and course resources,and discusses the theoretical basis of developing the geography course resources.By studying the literature,it is found that though the way of study the local geography is different in Germany,Japan,the United States,Britain,Russia,Australia and so on,they all think local geography education is very important.Domestic geography research is also relatively comprehensive,they called for the first-line teachers to actively develop local geography course resources and to carry out the local geography teaching,compile local geography textbooks,they all have depth study on methods and strategies of course resourses development.Secondly,the paper analyzes the characteristics of the natural geography and human geography of Qingshui County,carefully selects the local geography course resourses in Qingshui County,and combines with the junior middle school course standards activity suggestions to integrate the geography teaching material.Thirdly,through the action research method and the case study method,developing the book-----a pearl on the Loess Plateau---the Shanggui ancient city,and according to the developing practice,put forward the developing principle,for example We should follow the principle of indigenousity,pay attentionto the principle of knowledge transfer,synthesis and innovation,pay attention to the principle of practice,pay attention to the principle of characteristic development,pay attention to the principle of student participation.and also put forward in the actual development process should be realistic,perseverance,adhere to the times,emancipate the mind.In the end,the author puts forward the following suggestions: 1,pay attention to the moral education of the students;2,to enhance the interesting of the local materials to meet the psychological development of junior school students;3,reduce the difficulty of development.Through the study found that the development of local geography course resources can mobilize the enthusiasm of students,to improve teachers’ teaching methods and students’ ability to apply,to stimulate students love home,building home enthusiasm and determination.
