The Studyon Present Situation,coursesand Countermeasuresof Vocational Students’ Etiquette Education

The Chinese nation is known as “a land of courtesy”.Etiquette,the core of the Chinese culture,has been deeply penetrated into the behavior of Chinese people for thousands of years.In modern society,etiquette which is the behavior norm that people have to adapt to in their common social life,is not only a tool for people to express their good intentions,but also an important indicator to measure the civilization degree of a country.Students have been taught to learn the highest standards of morals norm in our moral education for a long time,but their actual behavior often beyond the reach of our goals,which reflects partly the lack of etiquette education in our country.Whether the etiquette education itself,or as a part of the moral education,etiquette education should be paid more attention to.The number of students in higher vocational colleges is increasing in recent years.The whole quality of the higher vocational college students,as a member of the college students’ group,is also the key focus of all circles of the society.In the past,higher vocational colleges focused on the cultivation of students’ professional ability and technical ability in the education and teaching,which contributed to the current situation to some extent of technology focused and despising to quality,ignoring that the etiquette quality is also an important part of the professional ability.The state council issued “On speedingup the development of modern vocational education” in 2014 which fixed the guiding ideology for speeding up the development of vocational education in the next period,so it is particularly important for higher vocational colleges to cultivate high-quality,technical talents with noble personality,good character.Therefore,we need to pay more attention to strengthen the etiquette education in higher vocational colleges,provide certain theoretical guidance for them,which can provide a powerful support to improve the overall quality for higher vocational students.This paper falls into four parts: The first part is an introduction,which gives an explanation of the research background and statusof vocational college student’s etiquette education.The second part is about the status of Education in Higher Colleges Etiquette section,trying to understand etiquette education situation mainly through questionnaires and interview.The third part is about the problems existing in the etiquette education of higher vocational college students and the reason analysis.The fourth part,some related and problem-oriented strategiesto strengthen theetiquette education in vocational colleges.
