The Research On Information Communication Of University Crisis Management

The situation created by the Public Crisis happened in Universities threatens the teaching,scientific research and the life order of that University,but also,to a great extent,influences the stability,reform and development of the university.Effective information communication is one of the key factors during the process of public crisis management,which goes through the process of the entire public crisis management.This paper makes some research on information communication in the public crisis management both in theory and case analysis.On theory,this paper puts forward the communication theory from the viewpoint of structure after summarizing literature reviews and theories both home and abroad,discussing the characteristics of subject,object and third party in the information communication structure and revealing the information communication process from the dynamic level.On method,case studies in view of the information communication of the public crisis happened in universities.Shengda College Chaos and Electricity-off Event in Jiangcheng College are the two cases.Analysis results shows the problems including weak consciousness of the subject,unsmooth information communication channel between subject and object,imperfect crisis information disclosure system and the poor consciousness of teachers and students participating the crisis.To solve the problems,more education should be given to college teachers and students on crisis management.The smooth communication channel should be established and improved.Also,perfect crisis information disclosure system should be set up,endowing the teachers and the students the right to know the crisis.At the same time,universities should innovating internal accountability system to public crisis,improve information communication management system,learn the concept of information communication,play the guide role well,complete the after-care work and finally perfect the impression in the public.
