Objective: The purpose of this study was to find the common characteristics of competitive shadowbox by comparing the technologies of the athletes that in different levels. To provide the theoretical supports that promotes the training by science. Methods: Subjects were 6 male athletes of competitive shadowbox from Beijing Sport University.Three-dimensional videography(Motion Analysis Raptor-4,2000Hz)and force plate data(Kistler 9281 CA,1000Hz)were collected for athletes performing3 timesResult: Athletes buck knees heavily when going vertical jumping.Chai got a maximal angle of bucking knees.Athlete active their hip joint and knee joint first when pedal and stretch, then the ankle joint. At the phase of pedal and stretch, there exits positive correlation between the amplitude of arm swinging and the velocity at take-off.There are different curves of vertical ground reaction force.Someone got double peaks, and others got single peak.Chai soared more highly and longer than others. His posture accords with the rules of competitive shadowbox, and others appear some wrong motions. When landing from height, chai got the minimal dynamic postural stability index in horizontal direction and vertical direction. There exits negative correlation between the amplitude of the knee joint and the dynamic postural stability index in all directions. There exits negative correlation between the amplitude of the ankle joint and both of the vertical stability index and the dynamic postural stability index. There exits negative correlation between buffer time and the both of Medial-lateral stability index and Medial-lateral stability index.Conclusions:(1)Athletes complete the jump by squating.Swing arm sharply can lead to a higher height.Athletes' motion during jumping accords with the principle of sequential joint movements which may increase the ground reaction force.(2)The time of soar influences the quality of motion. The opportunity of hiting may influence the stability when athlete landing.(3)common athletes can buffering the impulse by flexing the hip knees and ankle joint. But better athlete will make use of them moreefficiently.Flexing the hip knees and ankle joint may enhance the stability when athletes landing.
