Research On Zeng Xisheng's Military Intelligence Work

Zeng Xisheng is one of the founders of the intelligence work of the Party and the People's Army.Zeng Xisheng,I'm afraid he didn't realize that doing intelligence work was one of the most legendary and worthwhile experiences in his life.In November 1930,Zeng Xisheng,who had been engaged in military and civilian transport for three years in Wuhan,was transferred to Shanghai and engaged in important reconnaissance aircraft work under the direct leadership of Zhou Enlai,Secretary of the Central Military Commission.In December of the same year,he was transferred to Ruijin Central Soviet Area,Jiangxi Province,where he served as the Chief of the Reconnaissance Section of the General Staff of the Red Army.In the autumn of 1932,Zeng Xisheng participated in the establishment of the Second Bureau of the Central Military Commission(CIA),and was appointed as the first director.During the fourth and fifth counter-campaigns against "encirclement and suppression",Zeng Xisheng and Comrades of the Second Bureau eliminated all kinds of interference,deciphered a large number of secret codes and provided the Red Army Command with extremely important military information.For a long time before and after the Long March of the Central Red Army,Zeng Xisheng,as Director of the Second Bureau of the Central Military Commission,was responsible for radio reconnaissance and password deciphering of the enemy.Zeng Xisheng led the Second Bureau of the Military Commission,intercepted and deciphered the radio codes of the Kuomintang Army many times,helped the Red Army overcome dangers and made outstanding contributions to the victory of the Long March of the Central Red Army.In addition,Zeng Xisheng also set up Japanese training courses,attaching great importance to the training of professional and technical personnel,which laid a professional foundation for the transfer of reconnaissance to Japan.In February 1939,Zeng Xisheng came to Chongqing secretly,joined the military group of the Southern Bureau,broke intelligence work into the military secret service,and opened a new front in Wudu.This paper reviews Zeng Xisheng's military intelligence work,summarizes its characteristics,principles and historical contributions,and affirms its historical position.At the same time,it will give some enlightenment to the future military intelligence work of our country.Under the new historical conditions,we must always adhere to the leadership of the party,consolidate the spiritual source of our army's combat effectiveness;we must constantly track and utilize new technologies,open up new areas of "information winning";we must fully pay attention to the leading role of people,and realize the efficiency transformation of technological advantages.
