Study On The Intellectual Theory Of The Communist Party Of China

In the history of the Communist Party of China,the problem of intellectuals has always been an important issue that cannot be avoided in each historical period of China such as the period of revolution,of construction and of reform,The Party’s understandings and as a result its’ theories on intellectuals have always been an important part of the party’s intellectual policies.The purpose of this paper is to analyze and research the Party’s cognitions and practices on intellectuals in each periods from the view of the history of CPC’s intellectual theory.The content of this paper has been divided into four chapters:The first chapter is to elaborate the purpose and significance of the research on CPC’s intellectual theories,and to review the current research situation on the topic of CPC’s intellectual theories in china and abroad,and to give the research methods of this paper;The second chapter is mainly to explore the intellectual view of Marxism.On the basis of analyzing the basic meaning of the concept “intellectual” or “intelligentsia” and its’ different understandings between China and west,this part is mainly to elaborate the intellectual thoughts of Marxist classical writers,and to compare with the intellectual thoughts of those representatives of Western Marxism,and so as to highlight the cardinal ideas on intellectuals of Marxism: Intellectuals,as a special social stratum which is to engaged in the production and reproduction of human knowledge,has the characteristics of both knowledge and sociality,is should be recognized and examined in the particular social historical environment.The third chapter is mainly to discuss the history of CPC’s intellectual theory.In general,the history CPC’s theory and cognition(and the history of its’ practice and policy)on intellectuals could be approximately divided into 4 period: the period of Chinese New Democratic Revolution,of Chinese Socialist Revolution and Construction,of the Chinese Reform and Opening-up,of the Socialism with Chinese Characteristics entering the New Era.Looking back on the history CPC’s intellectual theory,we could see in various historical period such as the period of revolution,of construction and of reform,the Party is always to take the Intellectual View of Marxism as Guidance,to take the Great Cause led by Party as the center task,and to integrate the intellectual issue into Party’s analyzes and cognitions on Chinese society in various period,into Party’s theories,lines,principles and policies in each of these period,so as to form the history of CPC’s cognition and practice on intellectuals in these periods.The fourth chapter is to expound the experience and enlightenment from CPC’s intellectual theory at present time.With “the socialism with Chinese characteristics entering into the new era”,intellectuals have an increasingly important position and role in contemporary society.The basic experience and enlightenment the history of CPC’s intellectual theory,practice and policy is: we should always to take the Intellectual View of Marxism as Guidance;to take the significant importance on intellectuals’ status and functions;to form a correct recognition on intellectuals’ political attributes;always to formulate intellectual policies in closing to the dominant subject and Party’s central task in various period,to carry out intellectual works in following the characteristics and rules of intellectuals,and so on.
