Research On The Intervention Of Case Social Work For The Spiritual Consolation Of Disabled Elderly In Nursing Home

Various social undertakings in our country have made great progress since the reform and opening up,and the economic strength has grown highly.To a certain extent,this has promoted the relative extension of the average life expectancy of our citizens,and the proportion of the elderly population continues to increase.According to the data of the National Bureau of Statistics,China has entered an aging society in 1992,and has entered a super-old society in 2019.The degree of aging has become more and more serious in recent years.It is estimated that by the end of 2020,there will be 248 million elderly people over 60 years old in China,and the aging level will reach 17%.The accelerated arrival of an aging society makes the problem of providing for the aged more important and urgent.At the same time,as our families are increasingly showing the characteristics of miniaturization and empty nesting,to a certain extent,the traditional family pension model is no longer the best choice for the current society.In the face of the current form,institutional pension has become the choice of the elderly.It is undeniable that at present,China's pension institutions have done a good job in terms of hardware facilities and service soft power,but the service content is still based on basic services such as daily catering,bathing and routine nursing.Psychological services such as spiritual needs are relatively weak and have not been given enough attention.For the disabled elderly as a special group,the need for spiritual comfort is often more important.By using the method of action research,this study selects an disabled elderly person in the X nursing home in Changchun City,Jilin Province as the research object,and at the same time,in order to better measure the service effect of social worker intervention in multiple dimensions,this paper also selects a non-intervention elderly person whose basic situation is similar to the service object as the reference object,and compares the results.According to the characteristics of the problems and needs of the service object,the author uses the professional social work intervention method to serve the service object.Through the intervention activities of social workers,the author summed up the valuable experience such as making good preparation,guided by the values of social work,internalizing social work service skills and so on.The goal of the intervention of spiritual comfort cases for the disabled elderly has basically been achieved.whether it is to look at the changes of the service object itself vertically or to compare the situation of the reference objecthorizontally,the service object can face up to their own situation and actively adapt to the current life.gradually understand self-worth and regain confidence in life.The author hopes to explore a feasible and specific intervention method suitable for the spiritual comfort of the disabled elderly through this action research,so as to optimize the incomplete problem of spiritual consolation of the disabled elderly.finally,the disabled elderly can be more quality and meaningful in the final stage of life.
