With the progress of the society and the development of economy,the number of dual-working families is increasing,and the dual-working families have become the common family organization form in modern society.Parent-child communication is the communication between parents and children.As a special type of interpersonal communication,it greatly affects the relationship between parents and children.For dual-career families,the smooth communication between parents and children is not only conducive to the healthy physical and mental growth of children,but also conducive to the better balance between family and work of the parents as workers,to reduce the conflict between the two.Therefore,it is very important to improve the parent-child communication ability of dual-career families and build a harmonious and warm atmosphere of dual-career families.In this paper,the dual-worker families in the petrochemical enterprise community of community D are taken as the research object.The age of children in the family is limited to 6 and 12 years old.From the perspective of group work,questionnaire,observation,unstructured interview and other research methods were used to study the current situation of parent-child communication in dual-worker families.In the investigation,it is found that parent-child communication in dual-worker families in the community is influenced by factors such as the effect of parent-child communication time,content,subject's initiative,understanding of the importance of parent-child communication,effect of skill application and views on parent-child communication problems.The influence of such factors as there is a lack of parent-child communication,the poor emotional management ability,the difficulty of parent-child communication caused by poor expression and the lack of mutual understanding between parents and children.There are four main reasons for these parent-child communication problems,including individual,family,community and social factors.Therefore,the author relying on the family systems theory,use group working methods,under the petrochemical enterprise community of community D,based on the actual situation and needs of the group members,a total of seven group activities were designed from three aspects: learning parent-child communication skills,creating a good family atmosphere and creating communication opportunities.aimed to improve the parent-child communication ability of dual-worker families in D community through the development of parent-child communication growth group.In the process of intervention,the group members can effectively solve the problems inparent-child communication through the experience and learning of parent-child communication skills such as parent-child emotional expression,perspective-taking thinking,emotional management,positive communication language and action.According to the assessment of group activities,the parent-child communication ability of group members has been improved,certain parent-child communication methods and skills have been mastered and parent-child communication ideas have been broadened.It can be seen that group work to a certain extent contributes to the improvement of parent-child communication ability in dual-career families.Based on the practical process,the author summarized and reflected on the shortcomings of the research.In a word,this practical study has played a certain effect on the improvement of parent-child communication in dual-worker families.
