Research On The 30th New Party Constitution Of CPUSA

As the largest left-wing party in the United States of America,the Communist Party of the United States of America(abbreviated as CPUSA)has adhered to the core of the most advanced capitalist countries.Since its establishment in 1919,CPUSA has undergone rough times and has continued to explore and develop the road to realizing socialism in the United States.At the 30 th National Congress of the Communist Party of the United States held in June 2014,the new party constitution was revised and passed.It provides us with an important opportunity to study how to carry out the theoretical and practical exploration of the proletarian movement in the core of capitalism.This article takes the revision of the communist party constitution as an entry point,and deeply studies the party’s changes in organizational principles,organization construction,and organization discipline.A deeper understanding of the guidelines of the Communist Party of the United States through the new party constitution contributes to the development of Marxist localization.The full text is divided into four parts:The first part expounds that the development of the Communist Party of the United States has gone through five periods,namely,the beginning of its establishment,the climax of World War II,the low tide after World War II,the transition period of 70-80,and the recovery of the drastic changes in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe.Then,with the revision of the party constitution as the main line,the process of revising the party constitution in the 20 th and 21 st centuries was divided.The second part mainly analyzes the background of the revision of the party constitution by the Communist Party of the United States from both the international environment and the domestic situation.The international environment is mainly analyzed from three aspects: economic globalization,political multi-polarization,and the continuous development of the world socialist movement.The domestic situation is mainly analyzed from three aspects: economic recovery,polarization between rich and poor,and ethnic issues.The third part mainly elaborates the main contents and outstanding changes of the new party constitution of CPUSA.The main contents are elaborated from four aspects:guiding ideology,party’s nature,organizational structure,and organizational discipline.Outstanding changes have been analyzed from the three aspects of the introduction of ecological socialism into the thirty new party constitutions of the CPUSA,the efforts to expand the ranks of the party members,and the continual improvement of the concept of socialism of the Communist Party of the United States.The fourth part reviews the thirty new party constitutions of CPUSA.The Thirty New Party Constitution embodies the advancement of the Communist Party of the United States.This is mainly reflected in the readjustment and improvement of the party’s claims in accordance with changes in the national conditions,the changes in the party’s tactics in light of the changes in the party’s circumstances,and the adherence to the specific principles of Marxism and the United States.The new challenges faced by the Communist Party of the United States are mainly analyzed from two aspects: the ideological field and the organizational construction.
