The performance management of the political and legal teams is an important part of the construction of the political and legal ranks in the new era.To carry out the research on the performance management of the political and law teams in the new era is not only a practical measure to fully implement the nineteen major reports of the Communist Party of China on strengthening the team building and Issuing the "opinions on strengthening the construction of the political and legal ranks in the new situation" issued by the CPC Central Committee,but also implementing Xi Jinping's socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new era.To deepen scientific management theory,demand level theory and the urgent need to maintain social security and stability.The performance management mechanism of the political and legal team can comprehensively,objectively and accurately measure and evaluate the work and ability of the political and legal personnel,is conducive to stimulating and mobilizing the work enthusiasm of the police,is also conducive to the discovery and rational use of talents,and the implementation of scientific performance management of the political and legal team is an inevitable choice.Since the founding of the People's Republic of China,the exploration of the performance management of the political and legal team has never stopped,and it has been developing towards scientific,institutionalized and legalized.The overall level of the construction of the political and legal team has been constantly improved.However,the performance management of the political and legal team is a systematic and complex comprehensive work,and there are still many problems at present.Especially in the new era,the construction of the political and legal team faces many new problems,new tasks and new challenges.These shortcomings in the performance management of the political and legal team need to be corrected and strengthened.Based on the analysis of the performance management theory of the political and legal team in the new era,taking Y City of Jiangxi Province as an example,this paper introduces the practice of the construction of the political and legal team in Y City,discusses the problems and deficiencies in the construction process of the political and legal team in Y City,and from then on,it shows that the performance management of the political and legal team still focuses on the performance assessment,neglects the overall management,and the performance index system is not scientific and standardized,the evaluation result judgment is not accurate and rigorous,the evaluation and other work links before and after are not connected enough and other defects and deficiencies,put forward some countermeasures and suggestions to strengthen the performance management of the political and legal team in the new era,which provides some reference for improving the enthusiasm of the political and legal personnel and the efficiency of the political and legal work,and improving the overall level of the political and legal work.
