Nowadays the world is going through a lot of changes that are causing global instability and transforming the world order.When the world is coming into a multipolar stage with power balancing between countries it's necessary for the countries to find their own place in the international arena.The former world order,based on the hegemony of one superpower,has been in crisis for some time.Thus,after the collapse of the bipolar order of the Cold War era,towards the end of the last century,the world order entered a transitional phase.After analyzing the evolution of Uzbekistan's and other Central Asian countries' foreign policy after the collapse of the USSR I examine the factors influencing Uzbekistan's decision making towards its foreign policy the main principles of which are equidistance,non-alignment and orientation to bilateral relations with states.I consider the basic principles of the key features of the foreign policy of the Republic of Uzbekistan from the moment it gained independence in 1992.I also identify and analyze the factors that have influenced the formation of the country's foreign policy in the period under review.I consider the basic principles of the key features of the foreign policy of the Republic of Uzbekistan from the moment she gained independence in 1992.I also identify and analyze the factors that have had and have influenced the formation of the country's foreign policy in the period under review: factors have caused Uzbekistan's adherence to certain fundamental principles of the foreign policy strategy(certain distance from the world's “centers of power” and a desire to balance their influence on the country,non-alignment,priority of bilateral relations with other countries and adherence to intra-regional integration in the Central Asian region;and possible changes in the foreign policy course after 2016.During the period under consideration,the formation and implementation of the foreign policy of Uzbekistan was carried out not in a linear perspective,but with reproducing(ethno political conflicts and crises in neighboring countries,export of religious radicalism,intraregional competition and contradictions between the CAR countries)and new challenges.
