"Why Is It That Red Political Power Can Exsit in China ? ",previously named "The Political Problems and the Tasks of the Border Area Party Organization",was the first part of the resolution written by Mao Tse-tung on October 5,1928 for the Second Party Congress of the Hunan-Kiangsi Border Area.This article analyzed the domestic political situation after the failure of the Great National Revolution,discussed the reasons for the existence and development of the Red Political Power in China,and initially expounded the revolutionary road to China,that is,to accumulate strength in the countryside where the reactionary rule was weak,to lead workers and peasants to set up a separatist regime by force,to encircle the city with the countryside,and finally to seize the power by armed force.There are many versions of this article.While this paper takes October 1949 as the time limit,and divides the versions of this article into two different periods for collation and research.After the founding of the people's Republic of China,Mao Zedong participated in the editing of the Selected Works of Mao Tse-tung and revised this article,which will be the focus of this study and analysis.On the one hand,this paper will give a detailed account of the revision,and on the other hand,it will analyze and discuss the reasons for Mao Zedong's revision.
