Communism As A Community Of Life

In this paper,Giorgio Agamben redefines the theory of engineerism as the research object from the perspective of life political community,adhering to the guidance of historical materialism,and analyzes the basic content,innovative value and limitations of Agamben's communist theory.First,along with the globalization trend and the development of capitalism in the new change,Agamben's new judge about contemporary socialism crisis is life political crisis,the people's life becomes the object of contemporary political game.manifesting on contemporary human rights issues,terrorism,war,and loss of citizens' political rights.In thinking to overcome the political crisis of life,Agamben establishes the construction path of communism.Secondly,the core of Agamben's communist theory is "life"."life" refers to the pursuit of "spiritual life" at the height of communism after the liberation of "physical life".On the one hand,through the interpretation of the essence of "life",Agamben lays the theoretical foundation for the transition from life politics to communism.On the other hand,by reflecting on Marx's "association of free men",Agamben puts forward the communist understanding of "life political community".Thirdly,Agamben establishes the understanding paradigm of "life political community".Among them,he uses "naked life" to describe the special groups deprived of the right to life,political rights and development,and identified them as the revolutionary subjects to realize communism.After the realization of communism,through self-revolution and constantly improving the spiritual realm,"naked life" become a more ideal "arbitrary independent body"."Arbitrary independent body" is the subovating of "naked life".It is a real subject that hasno social identity,is not subject to any social identity or institutional legal constraints,and manifests individual freedom.As the "arbitrary independent body" of the real subject,it has the characteristics of "life potential",which means that the subject has the right of independent choice of "doing something and not doing something".The community is composed of "arbitrary independent body" with "life potential"."life political community" is a complete negation of capitalist life politics,which means that the communist society is a "political community" with "life" as the principle.Afterwards,Agamben described the ideal living environment of "life political community" with "supreme poverty" and expresses the ideal goal of communism with "happy life".Finally,the research value of Agamben's theory of communism is to understand communism from a new critical perspective and guide people to rethink the humanitarian connotation of communism in the context of the contemporary "community of Shared future for mankind".
